What are some websites that have free interactive chess problems/puzzles?

Posted by admin on March 2nd, 2010 and filed under interactive websites | 5 Comments »

Looking for the interactive kind, where you can actually move the pieces to move through the puzzle. I’ve found some sites that have one puzzle per day, but I’d like to do more than one per day.

I often visit chess.com and chessgames.com for chess puzzles.

Does anyone know any interactive websites where you can make friends, play games, etc.?

I’m so bored and need something to do. Examples of what I’m talking about would be Habbo Hotel, Club Penguin, Zwinky, etc. I got banned from Habbo Hotel and Zwinky and have grown out of Club Penguin.

But now that you have the idea for what I’m talking about, please give a few examples. Your help is very much appreciated.

facebook is a good one!! you can keep in touch with friends, and there are plenty of apps to keep you busy (farmville ect.)

I want to help my younger brother to become more eager and involved in learning. You can probably help by suggesting good sites for a 9 yr old. He’s interesting in learning about animals.

designs for interactive websites?

Posted by admin on December 14th, 2009 and filed under interactive websites | 2 Comments »

A software company is producing a design for an interactive website for GCSE revision. describe what needs to be included in the design.
this is a 6 mark question for my ICT mock. please can someone help me with what to answer.

What you could do is use information from existing design interactive website creators and how they apply it it to products, development services, review and monitoring

Have a look here:
http://www.cyberisle.com/design.htm
http://www.enigma-interactive.co.uk/page/about/index.cfm
http://www.spirit.co.za/services.html
http://www.aullemedia.com/

Then have a look at what existing GCSE revision sites offer:

http://www.activehistory.co.uk/
http://www.schoolhistory.co.uk/revision/

Then apply a case study :)

Are there any interactive websites for todlers?

we prefer noggin over nickjr…more toddler friendly. Also check out pbskids.org, barney.com, disneyprincesses.com and we love webkinz.com if your child is 4 or older. You have to buy the stuffed animal, but the games and learning experiences are wonderful!!!
